Have you ever wondered what it is like in a place after the war is finished? Probably not,
You should...

Art of war: Sept 11 Aftermath from St Anger on Vimeo.

Watch this video and really think about it. Some people think about the wars that are going on right now. Almost no one thinks about the country after the war. But we should because we created these weapons, we created this conflict, we created this mess, the least we can do is clean up our mess.

Why Do We Fight?

But really why do we fight. Everyone tries to justify war when there really isn't anyways to justify it. No good point can be found in war. It never solves anything. Watch this video again and see how the soldiers, the country, the country's people and the earth all suffer. The soldiers suffer. The people suffer. The earth suffers. Mankind suffers.

When Confronted with peace?

"We know how to organize warfare, but do we know how to act when confronted with peace?"
    • Jacques-Yves Cousteau (1910-1997)

I really like this quote because it really tells of how people have no problem understanding all the strategies, all the possibilities all the war jargon but they have absolutely no clue of what to do when confronted with peace. There are so many things wrong with this world and almost every single one of them is because of us. War has a hugely negative effect on the earth. Sure using guns and bullets is one thing but tanks that can create massive explosions and burn tons of gas. How about the technology of atomic bombs that alone have caused several wars and conflicts alone not to mention the radiation and destruction they cause.

Well It Can't get any Worse

After reading all this, after seeing the video, after knowing your own, personal knowledge, you have to think, "Well, it cant get any worse can it?" Famous last words...

A test for a new hydrogen bomb being developed by the Unites States, click picture for link

Recently, the United States announced that they are developing a new hydrogen bomb far more powerful than other bombs. The development of this bomb will take two decades to develop and cost possibly tens of billions of dollars. I think this will cause more problems. Don't people see what we have created here? Can we not see that what is happening in Iraq, Israel, Palestine, etc. is catastrophic? And not catastrophic in a good way.

It seems that the only way we will stop war and therefore stop what I think is the more destructive aftermath is if every one globally takes a stand. It can start with donating money and organizing movements, but it doesn't end there.
